Solving Simultaneous Quadratic Inequalities with Regions · Matching

Match each shaded region to its two inequalities. A new set of graphs every time.

Drag cards onto the graphs (or tap a card, then a box). Each graph needs its two inequalities in the top boxes. If the region is enclosed (trapped between the two curves), also put its double inequality, like a < y ≤ b, in the third box; leave that box empty if the region isn’t enclosed. Some cards have mistakes in them: leave those in the tray. Dashed boundary: < or >; solid: ≤ or ≥.
